My friend swore by Davis Manufacturing's Advanced Conditioning Treatment for her golden retriever, so when I saw it was on sale, I thought, why not? My old standby had been leaving Max's coat dull and dry lately. This new one promises "advanced" but I wasn't sure what to expect at $17.58.

Well, after a few weeks, the difference is night and day. Max's once lackluster fur is now soft, shiny, and easier to brush out – even his notorious shedding around the house has decreased! The scent is mild and not overpowering, which I appreciate. My only minor critique? The pump dispenser was a bit stiff at first, but it loosened up after a few uses.

Overall, I'm really pleased with this product. It's made a noticeable improvement in Max's coat health, and he even seems to enjoy the post-bath pampering sessions more now. Definitely worth the slightly higher price tag for the results we're seeing!
