Our Experience

We go through cat litter quickly in our household; between our two cats and their tendency to kick it out of the box, we're constantly refilling. I picked up Dr. Elsey's Ultra UnScented Clumping Clay Cat Litter to see if it could keep up with our fur babies' messes.

I've been pleasantly surprised by how well this litter clumps. Even my younger cat, who's a bit of a litter kicker, hasn't managed to spread it too much. The clay formula makes cleanup a breeze - just scoop and toss, no crumbly mess left behind. I appreciate the unscented option too; strong fragrances can be overwhelming for us humans, and our cats seem content without it.

My only minor critique is that this litter seems to track more than others we've used. My cats leave a trail of litter wherever they go, which means I'm sweeping our hardwood floors more often. But considering the easy cleanup and good clumping, it's a trade-off I'm willing to make. All in all, Dr. Elsey's Ultra has been a solid choice for us so far.
