I spent hours comparing options before settling on IAMS Proactive Health Minichunks Adult Dry Dog Food. My German Shepherd, Max, is picky and active, so I needed a balanced, high-quality kibble. The 30 lb bag offered great value for money.

Max loved the minichunk size - it's not too small that he inhales it, nor too large for him to chew comfortably. He seemed to appreciate the real chicken flavor too; his enthusiasm for meals has noticeably improved since switching to IAMS.

The only slight downside is that the bag isn't resealable. While it doesn't leak, keeping Max's kibble fresh could be better managed with a proper closure. Nonetheless, Max's increased meal-time excitement and his vet-checked health improvements speak volumes about this food's quality. It's been a solid choice so far.
