Took me a while to decide but I finally went for the Marineland Portrait Glass LED Aquarium Kit after months of researching. As a first-time aquarium owner, I wanted something reliable and easy to maintain. This 5-gallon kit seemed perfect for my small apartment.

The thing that really sold me was the hidden filtration system. It's so sleek and modern-looking, blending perfectly with my decor. Plus, it runs quietly – I often forget it's even on! After three weeks, my betta fish seems happier than ever in his new home.

My only minor critique is that the lighting could be a bit brighter for plant growth. But since I'm not keeping plants yet, this isn't a major issue for me. Overall, I'm delighted with this aquarium and how easy it was to set up. It's exactly what I needed to start my fish-keeping journey.
