I've tried a few pet carriers and this MidWest Spree Travel Carrier was pretty solid. I appreciated how easy it was to assemble – no tools required, just snap everything into place. It's not as fancy or padded as some others I've used, but for the price, it's standard quality.

The mesh window panels are great for ventilation, which my furry friend definitely needed during our recent flight. I could see him comfortably lounging inside, even though he's a bit on the larger side (15 lbs). However, the zipper on the top door could've been smoother; it got stuck once or twice.

Overall, it's not my absolute favorite carrier, but for short trips and quick travels, this MidWest Spree does the job well. I'd definitely consider grabbing another one if I needed a backup.
