Van Ness Calm Carrier (for Cats Up to 20 Lbs.)

Our Experience

We go through things quickly in our house with two energetic cats and a toddler. So when I spotted this Van Ness Calm Carrier, I thought it'd be perfect for keeping one of our furballs safe while we're out and about or having guests over. It's roomy enough that our 15-pounder seemed quite comfortable inside.

I liked how the mesh sides provided great ventilation, even on warmer days. It kept our cat cool and made it easy for her to see what was going on around her, which helped calm her nerves a bit.

My one minor critique is that the carrier's weight limit seemed a tad optimistic at 20 lbs. We're not quite there yet with our cat, but I can already tell we'll need something sturdier once she hits 18 or so.
