Our Experience

The specs of this medicated conditioner intrigued me due to its 1% Chlorhexidine and 2% Ketoconazole formula, promising both antibacterial and antifungal properties for treating hot spots and itchy skin in cats and dogs. After a week-long trial on my itch-prone German Shepherd, I found the product effective yet had one minor drawback.

The conditioner lathered well and rinsed off easily, which I appreciated as it minimized stress during bath time for both me and my dog. It also left his coat looking glossy and feeling soft, a testament to its moisturizing properties. However, while it did reduce the redness around his hot spots after three applications, I noticed that the itching persisted slightly more than I had hoped.

Overall, though, this product proved itself as an effective addition to our grooming routine, especially for managing hot spots between vet visits or during allergy season.
