Wonderful enrichment toy! This is my third Popsicle. My dogs love them. They do not tear it up and spend at least 15 minutes licking them. My advice is to hand wash them! Yes, they can go in the dishwasher, but if you use the heat drying cycle the high heat dries them out so they don’t open and close as they should. I’ve learned that lesson the hard way.
So far, I have no complaints. I can see that this toy might not work well for some combinations of dogs and people, but for my two current dogs (blue heeler and small terrier), this thing, plus the treat mold, is GREAT!I love that the dogs get it more or less fully emptied, and it is washable. My dogs are chewers. As in - they will destroy most toys in a short time. I pick their toys carefully. They must be tough & indestructible - and made for CHEWERS. I wasn’t sure how this would go, but my dogs LOVE it. I give it to them in short bursts - 10-15 minutes at a time (or after training as a reward). Will i give it to them willy-nilly for as long as they want? No. But i will be buying a second one.
