I needed something that could handle daily use, especially for my teary-eyed rescue pooch, Max. I originally bought this comb to help clean the area the around the eyes of my 2 shih tzus. It does it a great job. I’ve since used it to clear small pieces of debris around the mouth area, in between toes and other areas that a normal metal grooming comb misses. The comb is very well made (good grip area, teeth are very sturdy, smooth to the touch, and the end of each tooth is rounded - no snags and won’t cut/scratch the skin).
