Our Experience

With a busy household and two active dogs, I needed a reliable backpack to carry their essentials on our hikes. The Ruffwear Front Range Day Pack has been a game-changer. It's so well-designed that both my dogs, who have different sizes and builds, fit comfortably in it. The five-point adjustment system is brilliant - it took me less than a minute to secure it perfectly around each dog. I especially liked how the saddlebags can be detached for those quick trips where we only need their collars and leashes.

One minor critique though: when the dogs are really eager to go, they sometimes push against the pack, causing it to twist slightly. It's not a deal-breaker as it's easily adjustable mid-walk, but it would be perfect if it stayed put more securely during enthusiastic starts.

Despite that, this backpack has made our hikes smoother and more enjoyable for both me and my furry companions.
